TBall (Ages 3-6/non-kindergarten)

Registration Information: 

-Registration for TBall is open to both boys and girls. This division is for players who are up to six years old or not yet in kindergarten. If the player has completed kindergarten, then they can enroll in the Rookie Division.

-Registration allows for coach and friend requests. CRA may not be able to honor all requests but will grant as many as possible. 

-There is a $60 fee. Early bird registration runs from February 1 to February 8.

What to Expect after you register:

After you register, teams will be selected on March 29. Expect your coach to reach out to you the day or two following. There will also be continued league communication through e-mail.

Team/Game Information: 

-Teams can practice and play on four of the available CRA fields: two behind the Village Market (or VM) and two behind Collegedale Academy Highschool (or CA). Fields are labeled SAU1 and SAU2 (these behind the VM) and SAU5 and CA1 (these behind CA). Signs are located on site to show which field is which. 

-Practices will be scheduled at the discretion of the coach after the draft.

-Games will begin April 12, 2026.

-Players play non-scored games.

-TBall teams will play 8 games with no tournament or AllStar games. 

-TBall games can be scheduled Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with rainouts being scheduled on Sundays and Wednesdays. Possible Sunday game times are in the afternoon, with the latest start time being 6:00pm. Weekday TBall games are only scheduled at 6:00pm. 

Equipment requirements: 

Your child will be provided with a personal jersey before their first game. Each team will be provided batting helmets. Many teams will have bats on hand from coaches and fellow players. Players are expected to provide their own ball gloves, cleats, batting gloves, and pants. However, batting gloves, baseball pants and cleats are optional and athletic shoes are acceptable. Metal cleats and shorts are not allowed. If the weather is cold feel free to bundle them up with their jersey being the outermost layer. 

CRA cannot run without parent volunteers to help teams! If you are interested in coaching enrollment will open at the start of registration.
