Intermediate (Girls: 4th-6th grade; Boys: 4th-5th grade)

Registration Information: 

-Registration for Intermediate is open to both boys and girls.

-There is an $80 fee. Early bird registration runs from February 1 to February 8.

What to Expect after you register:

After you register, teams will be selected on March 29. Expect your coach to reach out to you the day or two following. There will also be continued league communication through e-mail.

Team/Game Information: 

-Teams can practice and play on four of the available CRA fields: two behind the Village Market (or VM) and two behind Collegedale Academy Highschool (or CA). Fields are labeled SAU1 and SAU2 (these behind the VM) and SAU5 and CA1 (these behind CA). Signs are located on site to show which field is which. 

-Practices will be scheduled at the discretion of the coach after the draft.

-Games will begin April 26, 2026.

-Intermediate teams will play 10 regular season games with a double elimination tournament and All Stars game. 

-Intermediate games are not scheduled during the week of Junior Camp 1 for Cohutta Springs Youth Camp: June 7 - June 14, 2026.

-Intermediate games can be scheduled Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with rainouts being scheduled on Sundays and Wednesdays. Possible Sunday game times are in the afternoon, with the latest start time being 7:15 pm. Weekday Intermediate games can be scheduled at 6:00pm and 7:15pm. After school is out for the summer, teams may have an 8:30 if absolutely necessary. 

-Tournament games begin immediately following the conclusion of regular season games, while still not scheduling games during the week of Junior Camp 1, and generally last for 2 weeks of games.

Equipment requirements: 

Your child will be provided with a personal jersey before their first game. Each team will be provided batting helmets and face masks. Many teams will have bats on hand from coaches and fellow players. Players are expected to provide their own ball gloves, cleats, batting gloves, and pants. Metal cleats and shorts are not allowed. If the weather is cold feel free to bundle them up with their jersey being the outermost layer.
